To Whom it May Concern:
My husband and I began searching for an apartment on the Lower East Side in earnest in the fall of 2002, and saw several places in Co-op Village through various realtors, including Doris from LoHo Realty.
Doris was extremely helpful and responsive from the beginning, and showed us numerous places even before we were certain of what we were looking for. She was patient with all of our questions and special requests, and unlike other realtors we've dealt with in selling our old place in Brooklyn and in searching for a new place in Manhattan, we always felt as though she had our best interests at heart.
She never pressured us or painted a misleading picture of any of the apartments we looked at. It was by far the most pleasant real estate dealing we've had in New York, and we've lived here all of our lives.
When we finally found a place we wanted, and other people were vying for it, she was honest with us about what we were up against and helped us do what we needed to get the place. Once the deal was in place but prior to closing, she took the time to show the apartment to my mother, even though she had nothing to gain. We really appreciated that. Doris seemed to care about doing what she could for us up to the very end.
