To Whom It May Concern:
My wife and I have been cooperators in Co-op Village for more than 50 years. We raised our three children here on Grand Street.
When we were thinking of selling our apartment, we contacted a “major” real estate agent, which shall remain nameless. The meeting with their representatives was most negative – regardless of the few sales they did down here, they had no sense of the value of the apartment, nor, equally important, a true appreciation of the neighborhood.
As a result, I contacted LoHo Realty. Broker Jacob Goldman immediately came to my office with an optimistic, positive view. With his enthusiasm and LoHo Realty’s hard work, the apartment went into contract with 24 hours. LoHo Realty also dealt efficiently with the Board and management with all issues that arose – an area of expertise I know other brokers can’t match.
As a man who has spent all of his business life involved with real estate, retailing, banking, financing and utilities, I have had the pleasure and displeasure of many experiences with people of all economic levels. Without any solicitation or patronage from LoHo Realty, I must say that my dealings with LoHo Realty have been among the most pleasant and professional experiences I have ever had.
LoHo Realty’s efficiency, cooperation, consideration and patience go far beyond the norm of a business experience. They changed what could have been a difficult experience into one of pleasure and goodwill. My only regret is that I did not go to LoHo Realty sooner – it would have saved me time and aggravation.
I humbly thank Jacob Goldman and his able staff for what they did for my wife and me in the sale of our apartment and the purchase of another, and heartily recommend anyone looking to buy or sell an apartment in Co-op Village to go to LoHo Realty first and exclusively.
